On this page, you’ll see posts about publications (academic articles, media articles, and… who knows what else?!), as well as any events I’ve got coming up.

In all likelihood, these publications and events will be about women’s work in alehouses: brewers, ‘alewives’, serving maids… But from time to time, you might see publications about some other aspect of the social history of England between 1550 and 1700.
